Why Water Treatment?

Water is life! We need it to clean. We need it to cook. We need it to stay hydrated.

Have you ever wondered how a water softener works? Have you ever wondered about the contaminants in our water?

Water is an important element in our home's systems just like HVAC, Electrical, Structural and many more elements that make up a home!

Whether you're considering a rural or a municipal property, don't let other's fool around with your water!

Hydrological Cycle

Water exists everywhere! In our atmosphere, water is delivered as rain or snow. Just imagine when water hits the surface, it's either surface water or trickles through the soil into Aquifers that exist below the surface. As this process occurs, "contaminants" are introduced such as hardness minerals (calcium, magnesium), carbonates, iron, manganese, and other environmental concerns.

Water hardness can cause blockages in your pipes, make your pipes and fittings thin and weak, cause premature failures of water heaters, appliances require extra cleaning and maintenance. Chlorine in municipal supplied systems can be offensive to your nose.

Water Treatment Systems

Whether we require a simple water softener or a complex system, water treatment systems clean the water ensuring it's aesthetically pleasing. This protects all your expensive appliances, plumbing, laundry and your wallet!

Water treatment systems can be simple or they can be complex. That's why we are committed to ensure your family's needs and safety are our priority.

With over 12 years of experience selling, installing and servicing water treatment systems ranging from simple filtration systems to complex systems, we can help you with your water needs. We work with your local plumbing professional in the design, execution and maintenance of your system.

Why Consider Us?

At Sound Investigative Home Inspections, we, too are concerned about our water. Whether the home you're considering, rural and municipal systems can cost thousands of dollars. We believe it's important to consider this as part of your mortgage requirements.

We work with local Saskatchewan professionals who can install and maintain your system for many years. A small investment now in your mortgage can save your systems and your wallet in the long run.

As part of our inspections, we have simple water testing equipment that we will complete in front of you. We test the basics including Water Hardness, Iron/Manganese, Total and Free Chlorine and TDS (total dissolved solids). This is added to our report and if you choose, we can make a recommendation to a trusted local plumbing professional for installation quotes. For an additional fee we will also supply you with a full, detailed water analysis of the raw water to ensure your needs are met.
